Cancellation & Payment Policy

Clear, fair terms for scheduling, cancelling, and paying for your appointment.

Cancellation

  • Cancel 2 or more hours before your appointment: no fee
  • Cancel less than 2 hours before your appointment: a $15 late-cancellation fee applies
  • Do not attend your appointment (no-show): a $15 fee applies
  • If Wells cancels, reschedules, or cannot complete the appointment through no fault of yours: no fee is charged

Wells never charges for a notarial act that was not performed.

Payment authorization

When you book, your payment card is authorized in advance through our payment processor, Stripe. Your card is charged only after your appointment is completed successfully. If your appointment is cancelled with sufficient notice, or cannot be completed through no fault of yours, the authorization is released rather than charged.

Scheduling window

Appointments can generally be booked up to 30 days in advance, subject to availability.
