Pennsylvania notarial fee transparency
Pennsylvania sets maximum fees for notarial acts. Wells discloses applicable fees before your appointment and provides an itemized receipt.

Electronic and remote notaries may charge an additional fee not exceeding $20 per notarial act performed with respect to electronic records or using communication technology. Pennsylvania also permits reasonable, disclosed administrative or clerical fees related to the notarial service.
Witness policy
Wells does not provide witnesses. If your document requires one or more witnesses, you are responsible for arranging eligible witnesses before the appointment.
Cancellation & no-show summary
- Cancel or reschedule 2 hours or more before your appointment: no cancellation fee
- Cancel less than 2 hours before your appointment: $15 late-cancellation administrative fee
- No-show: $15 administrative fee
How payment works
Your card is authorized before the appointment, but the service amount is captured only after successful completion. Processor-controlled pending holds may take time to disappear after an authorization is released.
